Dauphin Island, Alabama is considered to be one of the ten most important sites for bird migrations in the world and was recently selected as one of the best locations in North America to view the spring migration. Dauphin Island Bird Sanctuaries is dedicated to securing and maintaining a network of quality stopover habitats for migrating birds on this critically important, yet imperiled, island. |
